Internships are a key component of many universities’ and higher schools’ curricula<\/strong>. They offer the opportunity for companies and students to exchange and use each others’ knowledge and experience. In food technology and product development
\nEvery year, we offer students majoring in food technology and product development<\/strong> the opportunity to complete an internship for their bachelor’s and master’s thesis<\/strong> work. With professional supervision and support from our employees with many years of experience, they can tackle an appropriate project<\/strong>. Due to our positive experiences with internships in the field of food technology, we are receptive to internships in other areas.<\/p>\n

In the summer months of July or August<\/strong>, we offer pupils the opportunity to spend 4 weeks<\/strong> gathering their first work experience at Spitz. The application period for summer jobs in Attnang-Puchheim is opened in September<\/strong> on our job portal<\/strong>. Due to our shift schedule, applicants for positions in the production area must be at least 18 years<\/strong> of age for a summer job at Spitz.<\/p>\n\t\n<\/div>[vc_custom_heading text=”When are the summer job positions filled?” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”headline2 font-left font-red gap-mobile-top-20″]\n\n\t
There is a great deal of interest for a summer job with us, so we first collect all applications for consideration. In the spring<\/strong>, we begin the selection process and assign positions. Astrid began her career at Spitz as a summer intern in the laboratory<\/strong>. After completing her master’s degree in food science and technology, she began working as a food engineer at Spitz.
