1. Responsible party for data processing

1.1. The party responsible for data processing is S. Spitz GmbH. (hereafter “Spitz” or “we”), Gmundner Straße 27, 4800 Attnang-Puchheim.

1.2. The protection and security of your personal data are important to us. We save and process your data exclusively in accordance with the applicable specifications of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian data protection act (Datenschutzgesetz/DSG).

 

2. Data that we collect from your visit at the Spitz website

2.1. Server logs: The IP address of the querying computer, along with the date, time, query, which data is queried (name and URL), what volume of data is transferred to you, a notification whether the query was successful, data for identification of the browser and operating system used, as well as the website from which access was made (should access have been established via link). The server logs are saved in order to be able to test system security, perform technical administration of the website, and optimise the offerings. These data are – in the event of a hacking attack – transmitted to the law enforcement authorities. In no other event are data passed on to third parties. The server logs are saved for a maximum of one month.

Functions & Statistics

Functional cookies are non-essential cookies which help to add user friendly features to the website (e.g. the relevant language settings via IP address, YouTube cookie for playing YouTube videos in a player embedded in the website, AddThis function for sharing site content, etc.). Statistics cookies help us to understand how visitors interact with our websites by collecting information on users’ website use in connection with pseudonyms. We collect these data for statistics and analysis in order to evaluate the visitor numbers and the effect of certain sites in our online presence, to optimise our content and thereby further improve our website.

Marketing

Marketing cookies are used to provide you personalised content that suits your interests. The personalisation takes place through the use of cookies to track user behaviour across multiple websites. This applies to the channels of Facebook (Facebook Pixel), Pinterest (Pinterest Tag), and Google (Remarketing Pixel and Conversion Linker).

Our websites use Google Analytics and Google Optimize, web analysis services from Google Inc. (“Google”). The information created by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to one of Google’s servers in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website provider and to provide other related services related to the use of the website and the internet. Google will also pass this information on to third parties insofar as this is required by law or said third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Google will in no case divulge your IP address in connection with other data from Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software.
