After production, the finished products must be properly stored, sorted and shipped on time. High quality and safety standards, complete documentation of every step and proper time management must be upheld, as the food products are perishable.
Logistics & Purchasing - involved from receipt of ingredients to delivery
Excellent ingredients are the foundation for high-quality food. That’s why professionals are needed for selecting, rating and certifying our (ingredient) suppliers. In the purchasing department, you get involved with our products from their very beginning. As a lead buyer, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process of a specific group of goods, observing the procurement market and select the best suppliers for the best long-term commercial results.
As a dispatcher, you make sure that all of the necessary components and ingredients of a product are available on-site for us when they are needed.
In logistics, you face the daily challenge of getting the right raw materials, packaging materials or finished products to the right place at the right time. With a keen interest in constant technological advances, you strive to optimise commercial processes both within the company and with its partners.
Your strengths:
- Completed career training in logistics or supply chain management
- Comprehensive understanding of forwarding channels and company procedures
- A knack for negotiation and organisational skills
- Strong orientation towards finding solutions and providing good service
- Excellent IT skills, preferably with the ERP system SAP

Markus ist strategischer Einkäufer und Einkaufsleiter unseres Bereichs Süß- und Backwaren. Als unternehmensübergreifender Lead Buyer verantwortet er wichtige Warengruppen wie Nüsse, Eier und Mehl. Gemeinsam mit seinem Team ist er für die Verhandlung diverser Rahmenvereinbarungen, Angebotsprüfung und Reklamationsabwicklung, sowie Marktbeobachtung und -analyse verantwortlich.
Stefanie is the director of logistics at Spitz. In this position, she leads the team responsible for organizing and implementing all logistical procedures, from the receipt of goods to in-house transport, storage, and delivery. Overseeing these processes with an eye for continuous optimisation and cost reduction is also included in her purview.
