Günter‘s story spans over 30 years, and shows that personal focus and a company’s willingness to constantly encourage its employees can combine to make an impressive career path possible. After finishing his apprenticeship, Günter worked in the logistics department, of which he took on management after several years. During his tenure, he commissioned Spitz’s first automated high-rack storage facility.

At the beginning of 2021, his continuous efforts toward improving processes and organisation led to the next step in his career: his promotion to the upper-level management. In his role as Head of Central Operations, Günter is responsible for the combined areas of Logistics, Central Technology, Quality Assurance and Quality Management at Spitz.
